Robert Unterköfler - Rote Welt #2
Saxophonist Robert Unterköfler presents his new project: Rote Welt #2. For this project, Unterköfler brings together a group of musicians with whom he can explore and develop the many facets of his musical world. The ensemble creates compelling moments across a wide range of atmospheres, expressed through ever-changing constellations within the collective.
In February 2026, entered the studio to record a new album, set for release in mid-year. The recording will feature exclusively original compositions and improvisations, highlighting the distinct musical personalities of each member.

Robert Unterköfler - Rote Welt
Rote Welt is the name of the new program of Austrian tenor saxophonist Robert Unterköfler. For this project he got together with some of the most exciting jazz-players of the Viennese music scene to create honest and true music. Their music, which is expressed through original compositions with much room for improvisation, means to show a world of nihilism, where everything is possible but nothing is mandatory.
